All Dogtra training collars are completely waterproof, which means that they will work in the harshest conditions. The newer systems such as the 280ncp, 1900ncp, 2300ncp, 7100H, 7000M & 3500ncp series have digital electronics and run on rechargeable NiMH batteries. The batteries, which are included with each unit, are long lasting. There are no external antennas on the transmitters to get caught up on in the field.

All Dogtra collars have a patented rheostat intensity control that have up to 127 levels of correction which allows you to set the level so low your dog will barely feel a tingle. The rheostat dial is like the volume button on a radio and is easy to use. All have constant and momentary/nick stimulation. And all Dogtra training collars come pager mode (vibration only button) that is used as a warning feature that does not provide an electronic stimulation.

The Dogtra IQ dog training collar is a model designed for small the medium size companion dogs. The Dogtra IQ has a 400 yard range and includes the non-electronic pager feature.

The Dogtra 1900ncp dog training collar is one our best sellers. It is a "low to high" power collar for dogs 15lb's and up and provides and high output of correction on the higher levels for larger, rambunctious, more stubborn breed dogs with a lot of energy. The 1900ncp collar receiver only weighs 4.9 ounces and the transmitter, which weighs only 4.2 ounces, is easy to use, even if you are wearing gloves. One charging system recharges batteries in both transmitter and collar at the same time.

Dogtra also makes multiple-dog systems that allow you to training up to 4 dogs from one remote control. These multi-dog systems are user-friendly and easy to toggle back and forth between dogs. Beside the Dogtra IQ, Dogtra training collars start at half mile range and go up to 1 full mile, so your dog doesn't have to be right beside you to receive appropriate correction from the unit.

At this time, a training collar designed for one dog cannot be upgraded to a multiple dog unit. If you have more than one dog that you want to train with the same transmitter, be sure to buy a collar unit specifically designed for multiple dogs.
