The Dogtra 280NCP Platinum Dog Training Collar is designed for pet owner's new to electronic dog training collars and is a 1 dog system. It has all the features of Dogtra's professional line collars, yet it's correction is gentle enough for even the most timid dog.

The Dogtra 280NCP Dog Shock Collar is made with the quality and features dog owners' need. It has 1/2 mile range and the rheostat intensity dial allows gradual correction adjustment up to 127 levels. It has nick/momentary, constant/continuous and vibration/pager. Both the collar/receiver and transmitter are fully waterproof. The LCD screen shows your current correction level setting and transmitter battery level and can be easily seen in dark and low light conditions. Both the collar/receiver and transmitter have rechargeable NiMH batteries.

Note: Dogtra Training Collars come with 5/8" contact points included. If your dog has longer fur or a heavy undercoat, you should purchase longer (3/4" or 1") contact points. In order to make good contact with the skin we sometimes recommend trimming the fur around the neck area where the receiver will be.
