A Lectro-kennel is ideal for use in a kennel, doghouse, garage, basement, clinic or anywhere extra warmth is desired. An internal thermostat keeps the temperature at a desirable 102 degrees when in use. Constructed of rugged ABS plastic with a steel wrapped cord, the Lectro-Kennel can lie flat on the doghouse floor or be attached to the wall.
The product packaging advises purchaser not to cover the entire doghouse floor with the Lectro Kennel, so that the dog can choose whether to lie on or against the heated pad. When mounted on a wall, precaution is needed not to drill through or puncture the pad electrical components in any way. When used with a Lectro-Temp Control (sold separately), the Lectro-Kennel is an excellent whelping pad. Recommended for indoor or outdoor use. Comes with a 5 foot, steel-wrapped, abrasion-resistant cord.
A faux lambskin, washable cover comes with every Lectro-Kennel pad. The soft weave design allows the warmth to radiate through. Additional covers are available.
We are the owners of two rescue dogs,brother and sister. I am a bilateral amputee and we needed a better way to walk Poncho and Eva rather than on leashes. We purchased the Dogtra two dog system from K9 Elec. with much help and advice from Gina and Byron. Both dogs are young and did not obey well outside. It only took 2 shocks to Eva (a few more for Poncho as he's a bit more subborn) before I could walk them without leashes on our road with complete confidence.
