The PetSafe PDT00-12470 Yard and Park Trainer has been proven safe, comfortable and effective for all pets over 8 pounds and at least six months old. The Yard and Park Dog Training Collar assists you in controlling your pet without a lead and at a range up to 400 yards. At the push of a button, the Remote Transmitter sends a signal, activating the Receiver Collar. Using the Remote Trainer consistently and correctly, the misbehavior that your pet exhibits can be corrected or any basic obedience commands can be taught.
It's durable yet light-weight collar is waterproof and adjustable to fit any dog. It has eight levels of correction and a low battery indicator.
A complete, comprehensive training manual shows how to properly use The Yard and Park Remote Dog Training Collar to make training a fun and rewarding experience for both the pet and the pet owner. The Remote Trainer can be used to deter unwanted behavior such as digging, chewing on furniture, jumping on guests, or barking. It can also be used for basic obedience training such as teaching the "come" command.
Note to International Customers: This item is set up for North American 110v and it will be necessary to purchase a power converter locally. For all our overseas customers we recommend either Dogtra, Tri-Tronics or DT Systems Training Collars as they are available in the 220v/240v European version in the product "Voltage" drop down on the product page. New Zealand and Australian customers will also need to purchase the 3-prong plug adapter, locally, to fit your wall outlet.
