The PlexiDor Wall Mounted Dog Door from Pet Doors USA is an energy efficient heavy duty pet door. The frame is made of heavy duty aluminum. The aluminum tunnel slopes down towards the entry to prevent water from entering through the door. The panel is made of shatter-resistant, see-through insulating, energy efficient Plexiglas. The high-quality weather-seal made of premium grade industrial nylon pile improves energy efficiency, which saves money on heating and air conditioning bills. The door remains functional to temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The PlexiDor dog door is quiet and self closing. The panel swings quietly and smoothly both ways. It employs 2-way stainless steel springs that automatically close the door without banging. The security features include a 4-way cylinder lock as well as a steel security plate. The PlexiDor wall mounted dog door mounts in stud walls, brick walls, log walls and block walls. The small dog door is designed for dogs up to 10 lbs and cats up to 24 lbs.
