The HalfSTEP II Multi Purpose Ramp is made of the same durable and lightweight materials as the PetSTEP II. It's great for RVs, beds and windows. With the optional legs you can stand it study beside a bed or couch. The base of the ramp is made of a strong polypropalene material embedded with fiberglass for added strength. The surface is a soft ridged rubber injection molded directly onto the ramp base. The surface provides superior traction, even when wet, because dogs can sink their claws into the material.
The HalfStep pet ramp is 39" long 17" wide and 1.75" thick making it easy to strore anywhere. It's portable, weighing only weighs 11 lbs. It's sturdy enough to hold up to 500 lbs.
The HalfSTEP II Multi Purpose Ramp doesn't use carpet. The HalfSTEP™ is designed with a rubberized non-slip finish. Carpet needs periodic replacement because it retains moisture. Carpet can mold and mildew and traps odors and germs making the HalfSTEP II a healthier option for your pet.

TRAINING TIPS
Some dogs will take to the HalfSTEP immediately. For those that don't, we suggest you put the ramp flat on the ground & walk your dog over it (a reward placed on the ramp also helps or you might try feeding him (her) on the ramp once or twice). When you raise the ramp, your pets favorite treat placed towards the top of the ramp also works the first time. The first time up the ramp, take your dog by the collar & lead him to the reward. You'll only need to do this once or twice. It is important to take your dog for a ride after he has successfully entered the vehicle. |
