The Plexidor Bite-Guard KennelPlex Extra Large Dog Door from Pet Doors USA is an energy efficient heavy duty pet door designed for kennels and homes with dogs that chew excessively. Plexidor incorporates many features to ensure the best quality pet door. The frame is made of heavy duty aluminum. The panel is made of shatter-resistant, see-thru insulating, energy efficient Plexiglas and is lined with aluminum to prevent damage from chewing and excessive use. The high-quality weather-seal made of premium grade industrial nylon pile, improves energy efficiency which saves money on heating and air conditioning bills. The door remains functional to temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The Plexidor dog door is quiet and self closing. The panel swings quietly and smoothly both ways. It employs two-way stainless steel springs that automatically close the door without banging. The security features include a 4-way cylinder lock as well as a steel security plate. The Plexidor dog door mounts in raised panel doors, wood doors, steel doors and fiberglass doors up to 1 3/4 inches thick. The extra large dog door is designed for dogs to 220 lbs.
