The Petsafe Standard Radio Fence-3004W is designed for containing dogs 8 - 40 lbs and/or trains easily on properties up to 10 acres. This Petsafe Containment System comes with an Ultralight basic containment collar that has (only) one level of correction (for easy to train dogs).
Pet Containment Systems are like electronic fences; they are designed to keep your dog within defined boundaries. Unlike wooden or metal fences, dogs can't dig their way under electronic fences, nor can they escape through holes and missing boards. Protect your flower and seedbeds, shrubs and trees by keeping your dog within your yard.
Keep your dog contained and safe, away from pools and flowerbeds, and out of danger from cars and other hazards. With pet containment systems, YOU design, lay out, and control the wire boundary. The wire acts like an antenna, picking up signals from the transmitter and sending them to your dog's receiver/collar. When your dog approaches a boundary, it receives a warning signal (beep). If it keeps going, and gets too close to the boundary, your dog receives a correction (static shock). Soon your dog will know the difference between "safe areas" and "out of bounds."

Safety features:- Protection against false signals. Only our transmitter can activate the receiver. Other brands' receivers can be activated by Televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc. We use filters and coded signals to prevent this. Don't trust your pet's safety to anything but a PetSafe Containment System.
- Receiver Fail-Safe. If your pet gets trapped in the correction zone, the receiver will shut down after 20 seconds to prevent over correction.
