When the dog approaches the wire, a special collar worn around his neck delivers a brief, totally harmless correction that discourages him from crossing the boundary. Our basic Contain 'N' Train System is another Smart Dog exclusive! Patented combination containment and remote training system designed for yards up to 5 acres. Hand-held training transmitter provides four correction levels for one dog plus good and bad tones. System operates in three modes: contain only, train only, and combination training and containment. Don't be fooled by imitators! The training transmitter provides a full 150 yards of range and can be used away from the containment area. Patented run-through prevention and timeout between corrections help your dog learn his limits quickly and safely.

Note on additional collars: The transmitter for this system only supports the Training Collar that comes with the system and additional collars cannot be added for training purposes. However, any number of additional fence collars can be added easily.

Note to International Customers: This item is set up for North American 110v and it will be necessary to purchase a power converter locally. For all our overseas customers we recommend the Dogtra eF-3000 Gold as it is available in a 220v/240v European version in the product "Voltage" drop down on the product page. New Zealand and Australian customers will also need to purchase the 3-prong plug adapter, locally, to fit your wall outlet.
