When your dog is out of control, few options are better than a
training collar. Modern collars for training are remote-controlled, and some can be used in conjunction with an invisible fence system. Shock-based collars instantly link bad behavior with a negative response, reinforcing voice commands and eliminating ambiguity during training. Some electronic type collars rely on mild electric shocks, others on citronella spray bursts, and others on ultrasonic tone correction. Many combine the harmless but annoying ultrasonic tones and one of the other, more dissuasive, types of correction.

Have an unruly dog that won't listen to reason? Overcome by guilt
at the thought of purchasing a
dog shock collar? Don't be; the new,
humane shock collars won't make you feel like Cruella DeVille. Today's
units are perfectly safe - you can even test the shock level on
yourself. These so-called " shock collars" emit much more of a static
tingle than an AC outlet jolt.
