As you can see from the customer reviews, this little Educator ET-300 / ET-302 Mini has nothing less than 5-star reviews and for good reason. Everyday I recommend this training collar to companion pet owners because it is simply the best entry-level training collar for the price and can be used for about 90% of the circumstances customers describe for their desired training goals.

The design of this unit is excellent.  The receiver-collar is one of the smallest money can buy (2.0” x 1.5" x 1.1”, 2.4 ounces) and will work for dogs as small as 5lbs. Along with its vibration only mode (Tapping Sensation), it has 100 levels of static stimulation that gives the user a wide range of correction levels allowing you to turn it down so low that's its gentle enough for small dogs but has enough kick for larger dogs as well.

At first glance this new, rounded style remote looks a bit awkward, but nothing could be further from the truth. Its ergonomic, user-friendly, stop watch style design fits perfectly in your hand with its buttons right at your fingertips.

The Educator Mini has many unique benefits that aren't available with other brands, however a couple of my favorites are:

Lock & Set Feature
After finding the lowest stimulation level that your dog responds to, this feature allows you to save the setting into the transmitter.

Booster Function
During high distraction situations, your dog may need a bit more stimulation to get his attention. This features allows you to preset a higher stimulation level (1 to 60) into the transmitter as well. With other brands you will constantly be fiddling with the stimulation levels and its easy to accidently over stimulate your dog especially in dangerous situations where you need to act quickly. With the Lock & Set and Booster features this is no longer a concern as everything is preset in advance and you never need to take your eye's off your dog to change settings.

C.O.S (Control Of Stimulation)
This advanced COS (Control Of Stimulation) used in all Educator collars gives the owner the ability to fine-tune the perfect stimulation of the training collar for most temperaments of dogs. This COS improves training results and provides a better training experience for the owner and dog alike.

Tapping Sensation (Vibration Only Mode)
The Educator Mini has 5 training modes. Using the Vibration followed by low-level Momentary Stimulation mode will quickly teach your dog to respond to vibration only in a very short period of time.

Night Tracking Light
Now you and other people/cars can clearly see your dog at night or in low light situation with the bright tracking light on the receiver-collar. The tracking light is controlled remotely by the transmitter and can be set to flash or stay lit continuously.

If you haven't noticed by now, I really love this compact little remote trainer and cannot say enough good things about it. Beside all the great features mentioned above, it's durable, reliable, completely waterproof (submersible), fully rechargeable (2-hour quick charge) LCD screen, 1/2 mile range and a great bang for your buck.

If you've done your research, I don't have to tell you that you wont find a higher quality, feature-rich dog training system on the market at this price!

If you need something with a bit more range check out the ET-400 (3/4 Mile).
